Creative Retail Leasing, LLC is a full service consulting and brokerage company that was established in 2002. Wendy Silverman, Principal, has more than 20 years experience in the shopping center development industry and has leased a myriad of retail properties and mixed-use developments across the country.
Upon exiting the corporate world, Wendy formed her own independent company: Creative Retail Leasing, LLC (“CRL”).
CONSULTING & BROKERAGE/LEASING
After establishing CRL, Wendy realized there was a need in the upscale retail development industry. Many developers/owners lacked expertise in the planning and merchandising of their tenant mix as it related to demographics and competition. Wendy’s broad based familiarity with the real estate people within national and international brands and representatives/brokers enabled CRL to obtain real time valuable “research” as to prospective suitable tenants’ interest in a given project. CRL performs this service through a flexible and equitable fee structure. CRL refers to this facet of its mission as “consulting.”
Wendy as principal of CRL is a fully licensed broker in the State of Illinois and works as an exclusive representative but has cooperated in many projects ranging from the placement of 500 square foot retailers to leasing million plus square foot shopping centers. CRL recently successfully negotiated the highest ever rental per square foot on Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL.
